All communiqués to IDL SIG members are electronic. To facilitate electronic communication, we use this Web site, our newsletter, two email lists, and a LinkedIn group. The lists are:
- Discussion list – This list is the community’s main way of sharing Instructional Design and Learning information. Topics of discussion have included various tools, job openings, course development time estimates, online resources, and much more
- Announcement list – This list is a one-way means of keeping you informed about upcoming IDL SIG events, calls for proposals, newsletter publications, and much more. The prefix ANN or JOB appears in the Subject line of all IDL SIG announcements.
