Volunteer Appreciation Awards

At the December 16 IDL SIG leadership meeting, it was my pleasure to recognize the incredible team of volunteers in a brief Volunteer Appreciation Ceremony. 

Each volunteer was presented with a certificate and recognized for their 2023 contributions. After the ceremony, there was a drawing for several prizes—a $25 Amazon gift card and Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts gift cards that the “management” sponsored. It was a fun event!

Edel Pace For stepping up as our Treasurer, and participating in IDL SIG activities such as First Fridays at 5, webinars, and other online events. 
Jenn Buckley For stepping up to the roles of Webmaster and Survey Manager and sharing your Instructional Design know-how with the IDL SIG.
James Martin For editing and crafting exemplary newsletters for the IDL SIG membership, as our Newsletter Editor-in-Chief.
Jamye Sagan For volunteering as Treasurer and Survey Manager for the first half of 2023 and sharing your wisdom with the leadership team.
Marcia Shannon For reporting and writing about our membership, advancing our student outreach program, and engaging in Summit activities.
Melissa Pagnotta For stepping up to the Social Media position and sharing your digital marketing superpowers.
Ruth-Anne Klassen For managing/presenting the successful 2023 Virtual Open House, promoting the Student Article Writing Competition, writing newsletter articles, and performing secretarial duties with ease.
