The IDL SIG believes in encouraging those who are pursuing formal training in instructional design. We provide this encouragement by offering opportunities each year to students pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree or certificate in the field. The IDL SIG also helps its members identify and develop knowledge and practical skills for designing, developing, and implementing technical instruction in electronic and traditional classroom settings. Our goal is to promote sound design practices and educate members about instructional theory and research.
