Great news! The IDL SIG team is over the moon to learn that we have earned the Platinum Community Achievement Award (CAA).
The Community Achievement Award recognizes a SIG, professional or student chapter’s outstanding accomplishments in achieving the Society’s goals through a wide range of programs and activities. The Community Achievement Awards are usually presented at **STC Summit the year after the award was earned. The award reflects the year the award is presented (2022), though the award is for work completed in the prior calendar year (2021).
The citation reads:

**Our community will be recognized during the 2022 STC Summit Leadership Virtual Program on 8 June. However, the Community of the Year and Most Improved Community will be announced at the STC Summit Honors Event.
