IDL SIG Editor’s Column (and Table of Contents)

By Paul Scott

We’re officially into fall, and here at IDeaL, that means Summit Articles. This year, it also means plenty of content by our student members, a new writing contest, and a special emphasis on accessibility and inclusiveness in technical writing. I’m very pleased to see our members stepping up with so many excellent articles, so without further ado, here’s the Q3, 2021 Newsletter:

  • IDL SIG Manager’s Column, by Maralee Sautter
  • IDL SIG Treasurer Report – 2021 Q3, by Jayme Sagan
  • Student Outreach Corner, by Mellissa Ruryk
  • Announcing the Tech Comm Nightmares Before Christmas Contest!, by Melissa Ruryk
  • Featured: Create Accessible Social Media Posts, by Jannetta Lamourt
  • Featured: Words to Use and Not Use, by Mellissa Ruryk
  • Summit 2021: Finding Access in a Virtual World, by Anita Matechuk
  • SUMMIT 2021: An Event for Learning and Connecting, by Ruth-Anne Klassen
  • Flashback to Summit 2021: A review of personal favorites, by Maralee Sautter
  • 2021 Summit Session Reviews, by Jayme Sagan
  • Stay with us in 2022! It’s time to renew your STC and IDL SIG membership, by Lori Meyer
